Faulkton student’s work against obesity attracts film crew

Kyle Ortmeier brought a few guests to school with him on Friday, Jan. 25: a documentary film crew. Ortmeier will be part of a big-name documentary discussing the national pandemic childhood obesity. This past season, SDSU state agronomist Nathan Mueller did not put cows out to graze in his corn field near Hooper, Neb. Historic building in Kulm lost to fire

Building was a memento for the town of Kulm to share, a place where throughout the years the community bought their shoes and hardware, went roller skating, had their oil changed and much more.
