It’s an economic development investment, just like putting in a development park or a new sewer and water line to the new housing development. … It’s worth it for our community to invest an extra $5,000 or $10,000 into this house above what they can sell it for, because they’ve basically invested $5,000 or $10,000 to get another family into their community.”
