Dakota Rising program follows up in Faulkton

A follow-up community meeting was held January 6 in Faulkton for the Dakota Rising program. Faulkton residents and four local businesses named as Dakota Rising fellows previously met in September to discuss their community’s current and future needs.

Faulkton Development Corp. chair Joel Price addressed the crowd of approximately 40 people.  Dakota Rising personnel reviewed progress from the previous meeting and set up the training parameters for the Sunday gathering.

Staffers Kristi Wagner, Program Director for Dakota Rising, and Joe Bartman of the Home Address program explained the process. Bartman talked about the Home Address program and the Bush Foundation grant that Faulkton received.
